Bangladesh is a member of OIC. Islam is its state religion. Though not strictly Islamic, Islam does inform its laws.

And Section 2A states:

2A. The state religion of the Republic is Islam, but the State shall ensure equal status and equal right in the practice of the Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and other religions.]

If Bangladesh is not Islamic why are these two things in its Constitution?

Bangladesh was secular before 2011 but then it changed its Constitution to make it more Islamic.
