There has to be some synergies somewhere besides cotton.

On the surface, Tashkent doesn't look bad.

Tashkent was destroyed in the 1966 Tashkent earthquake, but it was rebuilt as a model Soviet city. It was the fourth-largest city in the Soviet Union at the time, after Moscow, Leningrad and Kyiv.

Understand that the population is small.
Only first and last photo has something from Soviet Union.
most of Soviet architecture classics are in western parts like Russia, east Germany, ukraine

Now this is what I call misplaced Bengali arrogance coming from two poster I usually respect but this is a big gaff that can't go unnoticed or unpunished.

Uzbekistan is far from broke. Have you ever seen the cities in Uzebkistan it is more developed then their East-European neighbours. There is mineral wealth on top of that.

These Central Asian states are more meaningful then Bangladesh and also more powerful.. We just saw one of the smallest of these 6 turkic states in central asia in war last year and they were well equipped and modern armed forces. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan under turkish close friendship and guidance are formidble entitiies in central asia and Turkey's backbone muscle. They are getting slowly armed with the best equipment.

As far as wealth goes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkemenistan are wealthy nations whereas Uzbekistan is middling economy not poor nor rich but in the middle. As far as development goes the country is well developed. They have nothing with Russia which itself is not rich it carries alot of package which the turkic central asian states doesn't carry. They are far better off that way. They will soon have free trading market with each other and Turkey.. Turkic council countries.

The Central Asian Turkic council states are very important and much more important then Bangladesh

Bruh most people live in derelict Soviet buildings without utility selling scraps, factories are working, neither are the farms. The people emigrate to ukraine or Russia to find work. I tell all this because I’ve had experience of talking with people from the central Soviet republics.
besides if you have any doubt just watch bald and bankrupt videos. The shiny buildings do not paint a true picture of the reality. People are still poor if not poorer they live under corrupt powerful wealthy leaders and probably got used to it to complain...
