Super F7 .This is Bangladesh and when they will see they can earn some extra cash they will negotiate the requirements or tender.
eurofigther but the money??? xDWhat you guys think? Sukui
Or... hmmmm Eurofighter/Rafael?
I can only see SU-30, F-18, F-15 meets the criteria.
Eurofighter/Rafael not sure.
doesnt meet the criteria... j10 and mig 29/35Might J10 b/c will do the job.
yes, Mig 35 is more likely to be chosen as BAF operates mig 29 already.
that doesnt make anyone interested especially when youre only buying 8And at the end of the day, it all boils down to- who offers the most, costing the least.
unfortunately they want a dual engines planeIf single Engine is acceptable than Gripen,F-16,JF-17 meets the criteria too...
mig 35 also falls short in some of the other requirements... and the tender will be considered only if its already operational before us buying them. so us wanting 4 this year and other 4 within 12-24 months after that with all the conditions doesnt make up for the 35 imo still....As I said at the start of the thread after reading it that MIG 35 is the jet that fulfills the criteria the jet will be operational in three AF soon in this year.
production of those start 2018Egypt has already place order for 50
super f7 is the father of jf-17...Super F7 .This is Bangladesh and when they will see they can earn some extra cash they will negotiate the requirements or tender.

Mig 35's engine may be under powered as per requirement. It requires a dry thrust of min 5500kgf whereas Mig 35's engine got about 5400 kgf. Its more likely to be Su30.... with Zukh AE type radar. After reading only two aircraft came in my mind i.e. SU-30 or the mig-35.
It was a single engined fighter soviets was working on to replace mig 21... then they abandoned and sold the blueprints to china... china wanted to dev it but it too later abandoned it and used it for dev of jf-17Super F7 ?
I think maybe it's a SM if bd wants the latest gen of 30s or if it's MKB/new variant just for us... then I expect it to be fielded in large numbers and ofc puts more weight on the claim of us wanting 10 more fighter sqdRead the tender gentleman. I'm pleasantly surprised. It WILL be new build aircraft. From reading the document, it should have ESA radar, IRST, twin engined, FBW, provision for thrust vectoring, having three countries using it besides home country, and must be NEW build.
Its Russian for sure. Looks like a SU-30MKI derivative. Something like a SU-30MKB perhaps?
Surprising, I would have thought if it was a Flanker, it would be more like an SU-30MK variant.
Either way, very pleasantly surprised.
You have the money? Then gladly provide the govt. so they are not doing kanjusi! If this is the kanjoosi rate of ordering, how are they going to procure 10 squadrons by 2030? 2030 is only 13 Years away.
Assuming 16 jets per squadron, 10 squadrons require 160 jets. Ordering only 8 in 2017, when will they order the rest?
Also, going for a twin engine Russian jet is not a wise choice IMO. BD is a small country, we don't need massive jets like Mig-35 and SU-30 and it's derivatives. We could just go for 160 J-10c with AESA, IRST, HMDS, SD-10 and perhaps even PL-15 type BVRs. 160 of these J-10C would give a massive amount of pain to any invading force. They could also be acquired for far cheaper price. The rest of the money could be used to procure two AEW&C and some HQ-9 long range SAMs.
For Navy, even adding twelve J-10c along with two MPA aircraft would be a quantum leap given the state of our Navy and the sea area we need to patrol.
Why does it have American flag and emblem on it?View attachment 381203 Just hope it has a good looking paint job like Singapore's F-15SG

The can't put in all the money for Air Force alone... and planes don't come cheap... sabr!
Mig35 is the same size as of mig 29... us 30 is larger with more range. They plan to provide security to the bay regions too. So considering that sukhoi fit the bill perfectly. And if you get 160 of j-10 you won't automatically assume more firepower and other advantages over sukhois... you would need double the number!
And the performance numbers are not equal to once we are looking for atm...
And maybe you're not thinking in broad terms...
Suppose the fighters are based in Dhaka. Bay of Bengal is under attack.... the fighters in Dhaka can go all the way into bay. Fight and come back... j10s you'll have to station them 24/7 in Chittagong base. Another scenario is if the fighters are based in Chittagong and just prevented some attack in the bay... and then Dhaka is under attack.... they can go to Dhaka without needing to refuel and thwart off the enemy and land there...
It's not like they want Longer range/ payload just for overkill! It's a requirement... maybe 8 years back a j-10 would be sweet... but not it should serve as a complementary jet not the entire backbone of the air force
Why does it have American flag and emblem on it?
I would be happy if the color scheme is like those yak-130
J-10C
Mig-35
Or if somebody attacks you in Dhaka and your airforce decided to pay them back in rangoon or chennai??
