Actually Indonesian bought Heron UAV from third party in Pilippine, I am not against the acquisition since buying that UAV can make us do reverse engineering or study the performance and system and it is positive for developing our own capability.

Any way we only buy around 4 Herons, not really a big number

Indonesia will not recognize Israel inshaAllah, but if we can have some transaction that benefit us, so we are likely doing it. During Soeharto regime for example, we bought around 32 Skyhawak from Israel since they are retiring them and Indonesia dont have much money to buy new ones from USA, so it become cheap solution to develop our Air Force while we were retiring Soviet made fighters due to Soviet embargo to us after we killed many communist members.

Nevertheless, Indonesia is still not optimum in supporting our R&D program and government focus more on economic development rather than high tech program, this is why under Jokowi government we are even difficult to pay our financial obligation in KFX/IFX program.

And China should prevail in BD in the long run. This visit does not sound good to me if it is to seek American weapons that we cannot use anyway in times of emergency because of strings attached to the purchase.

Airforce plane purchasing from the USA will take us near the QUAD and more specifically it will bind us with Indian interest.

A disciplined life spent in regular Salat and study of Sunnah and Qur'an (even on YT), time spent studying Allah's creation from your window (nature - trees swaying in the afternoon wind), a late afternoon (between Asr and Maghrib) spent in the garden among plants you have tended (whatever Allah provided you as a home but plants don't cost a lot - you grow them yourself), a bit of khushboo-walli chai, the trusting little squirrels and birds that eat seeds from your hands, a baby's innocent looks and smile. These no one can take away from you.

These are truly rewarding things that will bring true fulfilment and completeness in your life, instead of life's perversions.

Correct, US and the West will not impose unnecessary embargoe, Indonesia get US and Britain embargoes since 1995 until 2005 because we killed many Christian protester in Dili, East Timor, A Christian region we invaded in 1978.

Pakistan get embargoes due to nuclear bomb.

Bangladesh has zero chance to attack India and try to invade that nation, while India attack on Bangladesh will almost certain get US and The West condemnation.

On the other hand Bangladesh attack on Myanmar I believe can cause China to impose weapon embargo to Bangladesh.

The interest is because BD is key to India maintaining control over the Indian NE. BD has to provide India the military logistics route to supply the IA in NE. If BD does not do this IA loses the NE. India can achieve this if BD joins quad.

Therefore Chinese success in capturing Arunachal Pradesh depends on BD not providing the logistics routes to IA during war. Hence Chinese diplomatic warning and push so that BD does not join Quad.

Therefore BD neutrality is direct threat to Indian national security and territorial integrity.

US is just acting on India's wish here . USA itself has no political design on BD.
