@BDforever , @kalu_miah , @extra terrestrial -- a question on Bangladeshi MBT acquisition. What's the update on plans to purchase Chinese MBT-2000s. I know that there were 44 planned orders back in 2011. Are there any more plans to acquire more of those ? Thanks.

I think many of the older tanks are being upgraded in cooperation with Pakistan.

I don't have good info about future MBT purchase plans for Bangladesh Army, I will let others answer this question, who have better knowledge from people on the ground in Bangladesh.

I personally would like to see:
- a cooperation between Al Khalid III MBT and Altay MBT of Turkey with its indigenous engine, so we can make that our future MBT standard
- induction of lighter weight medium tank that is being developed by Indonesia's PT Pindad with Altay manufacturer Otokar of Turkey
Turkey and Indonesia to develop medium tank
- induction of amphibious 6x6 and 8x8 AFV's from Turkey (FNSS or Otokar)
