There's a large inequality, most of the revenues are collected from Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra etc, and hence the central government has been mostly investing in these states, North East India has a negligible share that perhaps explains the reasons behind the huge gulf between East and West

Govt. projects like NREGA and JNNURM which are $30-40 billion every year mostly have gone into congress pockets.
Modi govt. will be far far less corrupt. I see funds reaching the poor for the next 5 years.

Well, I'm not sure if Modi administration would be any better. If I'm not wrong, during the election campaigns, BJP showed their expenses as US$1.5 billion, just imagine what would be the actual figure! And surely they would get dirty to recover these massive expenses.

So far corruption has only decreased. I deal with govt. officials daily in regards to my business.
The situation is improving.

Bangladesh Army's Type 59 tanks to be upgraded

After completing the upgrade of its Type 69 II MBT's, the Bangladesh Army now wants to upgrade all of its Type 59 main battle tanks too as per its own specification.

Four countries including Azerbaijan, China, Pakistan and Ukraine have submitted their proposals with options to upgrade the power pack, transmission, main gun, fire control system and installation of battlefield management system to link the tanks with commanders.

However Ukraine's proposal was turned down due to their inability to meet the specifics of the tender but Azerbaijan, China and Pakistan remain in the competition to upgrade 174 Type 59 MBT's by 2019.

BD land way different than West Bengal and it is about soil type, over 50 tons tank can not move in BD
