I do not have to go to Jamaat to understand the political flow in BD and in our Desi countries. Why RAW should kill Mujib? It was because RAW saw him not as a meek BD leader they expected. He was rightfully a lion that India found quite difficult to appease and control.

Mujib was a man who disliked being in the Pakistani golden cage, how come he would have accepted the Indian iron cage? Delhi read his true mind when he visited an OIC meeting in Pakistan. Delhi also hated to see his old political colleague/ rival ZA Bhutto, the Pakistani PM, visiting Dhaka with a smiling and happy face, and Mujib welcoming him with broad smiles.

So, the extermination of Mujib was the only way to get rid of his independent gestures. India's RAW conspired to kill him, and who actually killed him did not quite know who was behind them except perhaps Khondoker Mushtaque, the next President.
