Ban/suspension based on username

Two suggestions :

1)As far as i know wen a member is banned/suspended and if a logon is attempted from the ip the user was using then that id is also banned /the logon is not allowed.

But im my case we r a group of 6 ppl living in a flat sharing the same laptop.

So can the ban policy be modified so that the ban is extended only for that username and not based on the ip..?


2) Can a "delete post" option be given to a member even if he s still not a senior member..Im sure it will reduce the work of the mods.

delete the cookies from the cookies folder,or use the different browser

@ 1) yours is a special, it cant be done for everyone..you should contact the mods incase if any of your mates got banned

2) you mean members having the authority to delete other people's posts ? or your own post ?

For own you can edit them
For others..thats what mods are for

If there are more than one people using the same IP from one house, it is better you notify me. Cookies dont matter. We will trace the IP and get the user banned on the violation for using multiple accounts.

Once an IP is banned it will not be unbanned.
