Ahhh yes everyone uses youtube to worship US and its propagandas.

Listen if you want your students to live in stone ages, no problem. We don't, Thankyou very much.

We have defined alternative platforms instead. Such as dideo.ir / aparat.Com etc.

Specifically dideo uploads Youtube videos after removing harmful contents and allows its audience to use youtube without being abused by American propaganda machines.

Internet is a platform basically developed by US military. Its not a safe heaven and will never be so. In Iran almost everyone has access to youtube through proxy Servers. The good aspect of banning it is at least you tell your people, hey don't Trust everything you read or see on these platforms.

The reason behind banning this platform is its high potentials for sabotage and leading civil unrest from USA and Western countries. For example Twitter was One of the biggest ISIS recruitting platforms until recently after destroying their bases in Middle East that convinced Twitter that ISIS is a lost cause.

All in all internet is under US watch and it's been pushing American narrative and their propaganda for decades.

People are capable of critical thinking. If you censor things and purpousefully deny education to your people to delude them into believing you, then everything looks like propaganda to them. See: India and NK.

Why not UNPLUG the entire country from global ICT architecture then?
