You misunderstood my post. Please, read again.
I'm saying it was not a popular demand, it was a dictatorial move by a selfish gang who has hijacked Pakistan and is hell bent on destroying Pakistan and Pakistanis.

The popular demand was to compel the cartoonist take her invitation back and remove her page. It was up to the government which route to take to make that happen and it resorted to ban the website after all other persuasive measures failed to yield.

Where did you get these numbers from? Prove that only 0.01% demanded the ban. At any rate, the ban did its job; the cartoonist had to take back her invitation and the very page was removed. Since the objective is achieved, the ban should be lifted now.

that page has not been removed nor did FB page in question even have anything to do with the cartoonist in the first place.

MOD EDIT: keep musharraf out of this thread

I think MOD is confused.... becuase i did not made any personal or derogatory remarks against Musharraf. It was the other fellow who addressed Musharraf as 'pathetic' which is clearly against the forum rules.

It is my belief that whole ban and cartoon thing is engineered to keep Musharraf away from building political front because grand strategy is to completely destroy Pakistan and its armed forces within 1-2 years.

There are many indicators..... for this.

BTW.. advice of hacking international websites is also against forum rules! e.g

Well it didn't happen so no point in imagining it. Rest of the Islamic countries have protested but noone acted like "Khudai fogdar" (God's army) like we did. End result is that we earned a bad name.

we are happy with the bad name!!!! not the majority of the muslim countries are as orthodox as we are, plus it was demanded by the masses.... GOP for once acted in time at what people demanded!!!

FYI few years back we were 'en-lightly moderated' still we had the bad name... so stop worrying about the 'other countries, they only respect the nations who have self respect!!!
