Balochistan student excited to join Pakistan Army as Doctor

Since Pakistan Army has a charm of its professionalism and discipline, young blood always tends towards it as future professional. Same motivation has been observed in students who are just back in Pakistan after paying a 2-week study trip to US. Rahat Nazeer, a 10th class science student from Balochistan said that she has a special motivation to join Pakistan Army as Doctor.

Why wouldn't any Balouchi or Afghanistani , they all love Pakistan , its only the limited 5% rich class who wants to rule in the tribal regions with firearms and guns and malitias this is how its been ...

Its time Pakistani Army and Gov, control these regions and have proper judicial systems in place to protect Pakistan and work towards a united Pakitsan with Afghanistan as new province

Alot of innocent ppl have to live in fear becasue if they do anything , else the malitias attack and burn down their shops and livelyhoods and this has to stop

And we as gov need to build more policestations/hospitals/development projets in there one we clear out the malitias and terrorists or guns

good news but there is a little probleum i heared punjabis in armed forces dectate the terms and when they see a guy or lady from sindh and baluchistan they give them too much work and orders which is very hard to follow i hope it is not right

^ The officer crops is dominated by Pushtun/Pathan officers so it is them who give orders..The majority of Punjabis are mainly in NCO's but regardless of this..what you said is not true.Pakistan Army is very very united organization...the soldiers treat each other like brothers it does not matter if their fellow soldier is Sindhi, PUnjabi and Balochi.Anyways Good Luck to the girl.Hope she has a illustrious career in Army.

while in some cases there may or may not be an element of truth in these statements, generally these cases involve people who are making excuses for their own ability to meet the standards. we have the case of Col Osmany of EBR who was embittered enough to ...

If anything, in Pakistan army, like the rest of the country, any nepotism would be along the lines of family / extended family rather than provincial grounds. In any case the "provincial" identities are colonial constructs and have no historical validity (half of baluchistan was under oman rule and sindh was, for much of its history, under bombay rule...for that matter the punjab area was run from delhi - Lahore was generally a provincial administrative center until ranjit singhs time) and so on
