Yup...the maintenance is also done by PAA, but the costs are taken care of by the civilian government.

The ANFand MoI operates helis. There pilots are from Army Aviation.

And the roundels are not specific to Army Aviation, it is just to recognize that the bird belongs to Pakistan.

The case in our Company was that, not every one could get the machine Gun MG-3 only the strongest guys, and the sad reality for me, my Officers did not prefer me for the MG-3.So If I would have a choice between machine Gun (MG-3) and Rifle(G-36) I would have choose the Machine Gun. Thats all........and only wanted know your thoughts about the option between MG-3 and G-3/Ak-47 not the difference between machine Gun and rifle........
