You guys and girls need to chill. Pakistan military is not stupid. The ex-rebels will be closely monitored. By killing them will only infuriate their relatives and cause another conflict.

Not to mention deter other rebels for throwing down their arms.

More than 75% of all Balochs lives in Pakistan while the rest mainly in Iran and some in Afghanistan. The most Baloch in Pakistan live outside the Balochistan province in Sindh and Punjab provinces. Only some disfranchised Baloch tribesman have became militants that gets the most press. Nonetheless Pakistan needs to build more infrastructure in Balochistan province.

Good to have you back. Irrespective of what posters say here, the state of Pakistan would of course show leniency on the return of Ferrari and militants as showcased by award of a few lakh rupees for return to the fold and the helplessness of the movement as well as the lavish life styles of sardars on exile doesn't help the cause either. The government understands this. This is why it has continuously showcased leniency not just for baluch militants but for all militants.

We have to remember the reasons why these men joined anti state activities. The sardars and leaders may be getting money from RAW but these are all foot soldiers who get money from those sardars. They follow bcz they get paid by them.

We have to make sure that we provide full development and education to Baluchistan bcz all things aside, the bud of the insurgency was never RAW or nationalistic greater Baluchistan or independent baluchistan rubbish but poverty and lack of education and development. We have to provide them all of this and frankly not try to control the province through greedy sardars but through democracy. If we do not provide this then we may see new militants show up. We have dealt a severe blow to the Baluch movement. Its time to end this by bringing development and education.


Plz excuse the mods. You have to understand that there is massive mistrust on both sides from both parties which is usual when something like this happens. This mistrust must be bridged and thus anybody showing some form of sympathy for these insurgents is seen in a negative light. It will take time. This is what happens in civil wars and separation movement. The losing side mistrusts the winning side bcz the losing side feels the goals they shed their blood for which is often rights, autonomy and development, will not be addressed and the winning side mistrusts the losing side bcx they picked up arms and their is a sense of treachery. This makes the situation very complicated and everybody is touchy and in a state of paranoia.

So please show patience and don't judge them harshly and my advice to rhe mods and other posters is the same. Listening never hurt anybody. She is not saying break up Pakistan. She is addressing a very core issue. The same issue we talk about when we discuss fata.

The govt in Baluchistan isn't the best ( better than Sindh) but they are doing good work. Yes more is required and yes the federal showed personally take a portion out of budget to develop FATA and Baluchistan bcz these two areas need quick work and I would gilgit baltistan as well. If we can't make them a province then at least make them the most developed region of Pakistan.

Better days will come.

Yeah I excused the mods as I know they're possessive about pakistan but anyway one should respect contrary views . People of balochistan has a different understanding of such things , a man sitting in a comfortable life in Lahore or karachi or London or south Africa would've a different view compared to us living in balochistan.
