If Raj comes back, what happens to his policy of being inclusive of Marathi Muslims?

This contrasts with the Sena's policy of Hindu nationalism.

To be honest I don't think Raj will go back to Sena, and if anything Sena may become absorbed in to the MNS, since Raj has grown comfortable with the MNS, knows its leaders, cadres, structures, ways and policies.

Let me tell you something Sena was/is and always will be hardcore Hindu thinking party. But they aren't against Muslims in general.

What Raj policy is now it used tobe Sean's. So ideologically not too much or no difference.

Raj Thakare is leader by birth. He is similar like his uncle. No other leader dare to cross him in his party. I am the one who belive or want MNS to merge in Sena

1. Thackeray (good or bad) was an important figure in what is basically India's New York, the economic heart of the country.

2. Also Marathis are a proud and tough race and do not put up with B.S.

If Marathis really got sick and tired of BIMARU/Hindustani domination then that would spell the end of the Indian Union as we know it. However they are loyal to India.

Keep the tough race theory to yourself, India is not moghul empire. India is a dream of our collective consciousness ( how absurd it might look like) and those who try to break away will face some discomfort to their normal lifestyle.

I could never imagine MSN activists going to Punjab, provoking Sikhs, burning Sikh turbans, fighting with Sikh police and getting dealt with by Sikh militants.

This being what happened to Shiv Sena earlier this year.

I.e. MNS is more concerned about Maharashtra than other areas of India or pan-Hindu issues.

Raj even made the Muslim riots in Mumbai a Bihari v Marathi issue.

True...as I said it depends on a lot of factors. The Sainiks behaviour themselves, the media behaviour and some other elements who might provoke them.

But realistically speaking there will be some damage to public property. Whenever a leader of this stature passes away there is violence. MGR, NTR, Rajkumar..all their deaths caused a big commotion in their states.

Sena was too Maharashtra centric but after tieing up with BJP they came on broder picture.

If you don't know Shikh people respect Balasaheb for his help to them in anti-Sikh riot. Shikh and Sena never lock horns
