What's new

Bajaj Dominar 400 . . .

I brought my first bike after turning 18 in 2011. It was a Honda Twister

Used to be a fun ride back then, now just rotting in my garage.
I have other options already. :D
Lol. is it you vcheng?? I always thought you're a troll from Pakistan whenever I looked at your username.

. . .
Hmmmmm.

Which means you are welcome to your choices as a biker. Though I do not agree with them or the reasons thereof. :)

To each their own. We are all motorcyclists, so it is all good.

True. But you would agree that in the US, even your "offroad" would have less dust than most semi urban areas in India (and probably Pakistan). KTMs do great here, with air filters needing cleaning every 5000 kms, replacement at 10,000. Electricals no better or worse than any other highly electronically controlled bike with tons of sensors, that do not like getting wet. But to the extent of misbehaving, not dying or anything critical. I realize you would have other options out there, but there must be a reason why one brand takes ALL the off road honours worldwide from motocross to rallying to Paris Dakar and even our Raid de Himalaya. All other brands put together (mainly Yamaha in a very distant second) do not even come close. And I do not know when BMW beat KTM last. So yeah, I do not agree.

KTMs are great bikes, specially for racing, no doubt.

Indian Companies make very cool bikes .. I wish some of them introduce their Products in Pakistan as well .
Feel bad for Young guys who can't afford costly bikes and can't even drive affordable starting Super bikes due to unavailability in Pakistan.
But I see a lot of stuff going on in Pakistan these days
Good

Use a K&N air filter and boom, no need to change it.
Reapply oil and you're done

Never liked K&Ns personally. Seen premature engine wear. UNIs are better. But personally on a bike I tour with, I prefer as close to stock as possible. Less things to worry about.
