Bahubali continues to rock the box office with 500 crores and counting. As of today it still runs in over 2000 screens around the world despite having been released weeks ago.

'Baahubali' is first non-Hindi film to enter 500 cr club

Some facts you may not know:

It was EXTREMELY hard work

-Over 300 days of back breaking shooting
-physically very demanding- rana duggabatti was asked to keep a muscle bound weight of 120+ Kgs and he maintained it along with Prabhas
- it is quite an original story- completely unrelated to the likes of 300, Lord of the Rings etc. that some people thought after watching the trailer

Overall a very enjoyable and great watch. Waiting for Part-2

My compliments to the Telugu film making fraternity for making such a bold and imaginative jump and huge effort. May you succeed in such endeavours because your success is well deserved. Proud of being a South Indian :-)

I always rated south Indian movies much higher than Bollywood. Anyway the ending was not that much good of the movie

PS- Prabhas's (the hero) father wrote Bajrangi Bhaijaan too, so I guess that man has a lot to celebrate :)

Dude, ending is in part-2 dude. Plus, how can it be better- kattappa was the last person I would have expected to kill Bahubali!

magadheera and baahubali are toe to toe for me

I never saw Maghadeera. I have seen Rajamouli films without realizing the phenomenon he has become (like Maryada Ramanna), but if you're recommending Maghadeera, then it's gonna be a must watch for me. Thanks for the recco man.

Audience deserve more such movies than the run of the mill movies eulogizing the pub culture.

You should watch the graphic details and the classic fight sceans in maghadheera, its superb, salman tryed it and could not match it:lol: and nowa days Bollywood is no match in story telling and using technology in movies southern movies are way ahead of Bollywood, one thing Bollywood excells is item songs, skin show :secret:
