I watched the movie immediately after the movie was released in UAE.
Anushka Shetty was the surprise package of part-2 or so i think.
I liked it better than part-1.
Exaggerations on certain occasions were a put off but otherwise its a good movie.

Never watched even the first one. I have been told i am missing out many times hehe.

Yup nice movie, liked the movie . Effects were brilliant but few scenes with too much exaggerated effects looked stupid.
Yet a brilliant storyline and superb presentation.

Really liked the movie saw it 3 times , the only bad part was at the end .
1. That soldiers being launched sure it looked epic , but comeon they are foot soldiers , they can't do the super human crap that katappa & bahubali can.

2.I wanted ballal to to die like the badass he was , just like bhahunalis fathers throne death scean .insted we see him screaming over getting burnt , if he died laughing or something that scean would have been ironic

Yes the soldeirs being catapulted was a too much to bear.
But they did ensure other military strategies which were used in the past where shown too like setting animals on fire.
I think it was during the siege of Megara when the Megarians doused some pigs with combustible pitch, curde oil and set them alight, and drove them towards the enemy's massed war elephants. This repelled the elephants who ran helter-skelter trampling soldiers to death.

Saw it last Saturday with wife and son. Daughter refused to go as she wanted to see guardians of galaxy.
It was night show (usual time for us). CGI was terrific. We liked it all.
This Saturday going for guardians of galaxy with daughter and son as wife doesn't like English movies.

BTW, after seeing BB2, I saw BB1 on TV by getting it on pen drive.

I watched the first one, was actually liked it. I felt like they could have chopped some useless bits out, but the action was pretty good.

Pretty cool how a Indian movie outside bollywood smashed the Indian record.

Another scene of ship flying towards his kingdom and waves being controlled by some kinda power...it was a bit much, but yea this what tollywood is known for, being larger than life.

India was till date struck with western super heroes like Superman, Batman, and what not. Thank you Rajamouli sir, for showing the world how rich our culture was/is, and the valor & courage of our super heroes!! Though Bahubali may be a fictional character, but he truly portrays all the real life super heroes India produced who fought against barbaric invaders of our lands!!!

I think this is first time that a non hindi movie is a bigger hit in the hindi lands, than a hindi super hit can ever be!!

I don't think so, but if we compare budget of both movies.. i liked BB1 over BB2.. good thing is despite 5year dedication to both movies prabhas took 25cr... which was less than another avg hero takes per each film..
