India as a country and Indians as a demography has never been anti Iran/Persia.

Indians have never been interested in Arabia apart from oil and usually there is neither favorable nor unfavorable impression for that region among general Indian population.Exception to this is Sunni muslims who regard Saudi Arabia as their spiritual motherland.

The upper educated class of India on other hand does not have favorable impression of Saudi Arabia.It is regarded as an oppressive country with no intellectual or cultural merit.

On the other hand Iran is regarded as an Ancient civilization with rich culture and usually seem with respect in India.
