BAF Invites Tender for KAB 500KR-U Guided Bombs

. . . .

What platform would we integrate Raytheon products to?

Brother @Paul2 - I am guessing the bombs would obviously need compatible Russian-made laser designators/targetting pods which are probably made to go only on MiGs and Sukhois. :-)

Yes - I am Captain Obvious, Thank You. 8-)

These days newer Russian stuff isn't any cheaper than a lot of the NATO stuff.

. . . . .
we could have gone the path of integrating TEBER (which we are getting for F-7) and Turkish LGBs to Mig-29 (It was done on Azerbaijani Mig-29 and Su-25)
well one Turkish member told me they integrated LGB on Azerbaijan MiGs so i thought we could do the same

If you're talking about QFAB-250, the bomb is produced locally by Azerbaijan while Aselsan provides the guidance kit. We don't produce MK-81 and MK-82. TEBER and QFAB-250 both are lighter than KAB variants BAF Mig-29 can carry. So it makes no sense to go through another modification and waste money to integrate those LGB/PGM when BAF Mig-29 is upgraded to carry all TV/laser guided weapons of SM. Azerbaijan's Migs are the "S" variant which has little ground attack capability so it's ok for them integrate QFAB-250.
