I think the most important point has been lost on this thread. In a deal between the US and Taliban, the Taliban is agreeing to disallowing Baluch terrorists from using Pakistan.

This looks like America is looking after Pakistan's interests. Now that needs a serious discussion. What's in it for the US, and what's in it for Pakistan? And while we are at it, can we get a clause added that Afghanistan WILL NOT be used against Pakistan, Period? With disregard to whoever the actor may be?

Why do we assume the US is the one who sent that demand to the Taliban and not vice versa? US has not only allowed BLA, TTP safe havens in Afghanistan but supported India and NDS in helping them establish bases.

Taliban has been against these groups from the beginning.
