The discussion is not about Baba Ramdev, but about his fight against corruption. Why you are trying to divert the topic. Also, it is not necessary that all his demands are right, the main point here is that government did not handled the situation well. Also, they seems to be siding with the corrupt.

You should read the whole thread, the topic was never fighting against corruption but the baba getting arrested. If you wanna talk about fighting against corruption you're in wrong thread, as the baba has no effect on that very fight, except to trivialize the issue!

Police could have easily fired bullets and killed some but police showed some maturity

Funny how some members here seem to quote the constitution when it suits them saying freedom to protest . but the fact is that there are some laws defined by the constitution too which says that you first need to get permission . now as i believe it the permission was given for one day and for 5000 people.
we all have seen that the crowd was around 50000. now the cops waited till midnight to evict them . they asked Baba to come peacefully instead he ran , so should the cops not fulfill their duty?
it does not matter what he was doing there ( if anything ) . what matters is he disobeyed the law. things got violent when his supporters started throwing stones. hence the action on the part of the cops. the laws of our country apply to everyone . even rahul gandhi was arrested and kicked out of UP .
grow up people who ask for a change in the government as there is a constitution in place which guaranties the current government to rule unless they loose on majority on the floor of the house . which is not going to happen any time soon .
THE PEOPLE OF INDIA ELECTED THIS GOVERNMENT . wait another 3 yrs before you start chanting slogans.

the same goi was doing lello chappo and settled that baba should end his fast by 6th june... don't u know that?? and what was the need to that in the night when peaceful gathering was sleeping?? when was the government when jatts had blocked the railway lines in rajasthan??
