Members of Azerbaijani and Turkish communities in Botkirka district in Stockholm city of Sweden have held a protest action against construction of a monument to the so-called ‘Armenian genocide’ of 1915.

The relevant proposal put forward by Suryani, Assyrian and Armenian communities was brought for a vote in the assembly of the Borkirka municipality a couple of days ago, Gun.Az reports.

Despite the protests, the municipality assembly took a decision to build the monument.

Eight of the nine parties represented in the assembly voted for the proposal. Fifty four of the municipality members voted for the proposal while five of them voted against it.

Botkirka district with a population of 87,400 is a home to 10,000 Turks.

Armenians are actively trying to make trouble for Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Just see the link below:

their tactic is to repeat a lie a million times and make people remember that lie by shoving statues in their faces. anyway, it's clear that the west and Armenians just use this fabrication for their own interest, not out of sympathy towards the Armenians.

. . . . . . .
What ethnic Swedish people decide to do in their ethnic homeland is their business. If Turkish people don't like it maybe they should return to their homeland of turkey.

If Swedish people tried to do this in turkey they would be beaten and arrested, there is a clear double standard.

If you think that these things happen fair and square, you're wrong. There is a clear anti-Turkey sentiment among the EU countries and they are clearly one-sided regarding this armenian fabrication. Let them build monuments for Turkish fallen innocent people by the hands of the Armenians, Russians, westerners if they are really open-minded and caring, but the Armenian and Greek lobbies etc won't allow this. Mark my words. This is what we are against, this double standard, they see the splinter in another man's eye, but not the log in front of their own eyes.

Millions of people around the world believe the Armenian genocide occurred and that turkey wants to hide this fact to save its image.

And where do those countries around the world get their info from? Right, from the western countries because of their worldwide influence. Just like how the US/West fabricated proof of Saddam's WMD's and made the world belief. That influence i am talking about. The fact that there were/are western sounds against the Armenian genocide means that the topic is essentially controversial, what happened later are just political games against Turkey. This is further reinforced by the fact that no one is talking about the atrocities committed against the Ottoman subjects in the east at the hands of the Ottoman armenians. you too sound like you simply believe what you eagerly want to see and hear. after all, who doesn't dislike those annoying Turks, who once posed a great threat to Europeans, who deserve all objections and hardships through such actions, right??
