আব্দুর রহমান সোহেল, রাজনগর থেকে : রাজনগর উপজেলার খারপাড়া গ্রামে জামায়াত শিবির কর্মীদের বিরুদ্ধে দায়েরকৃত মামলার আসামী গ্রেপ্তারের সময় পুলিশের সঙ্গে এলাকাবাসীর সংঘর্ষ হয়েছে। এতে রাজনগর থানার ওসি মো. নাজিম উদ্দীনসহ ৫ পুলিশ সদস্য আহত হয়েছেন। এসময় পুলিশ ১৬ জনকে আটক করেছে। পরিস্থিতি সামাল দিতে দাঙ্গা পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে। এলাকায় উত্তেজনা বিরাজ করছে। মৌলভীবাজার পুলিশ সুপার হারুন-আর রশিদ ঘটনাস্থল পরির্শন করেছেনে। ঘটনাটি ঘটে রোববার রাত ১০টায়। পুলিশ ও এলাকাবাসী সূত্রে জানা যায়, মার্চ মাসের শুরুতে রাজু আহমদ বাদী হয়ে শহীদ মিনার ও আওয়ামী লীগের নেতা কর্মীদের ওপর হামলার অভিযোগে জামায়াত-শিবিরের ১৯ জনের নাম উল্লেখসহ ৩৯ জনকে আসামী করে রাজনগর থানার মামলা করা হয়।
রোবাবর রাত ১০টায় রাজনগর থানার ওসি মো. নাজিমউদ্দীনের নেতৃত্বে একদল পুলিশ ওই মামলার আসামী গ্রেপ্তার করতে যায়। প্রথমে মামলার আসামী শাহাবউদ্দীনসহ কয়েকজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে থানায় পাঠিয়ে দেয়া হয়। পরে আরো কয়েকজন আসামী গ্রেপ্তার করে থানায় নিয়ে আসার পথে এলাকার লোকজন পুলিশের ওপর আক্রমন চালায়। এসময় রাজনগর রাজনগর থানার ওসি মো. নাজিম উদ্দীন সহ পুলিশের ৫ সদস্য আহত হন এবং পুলিশের ব্যবহৃত একটি সিএনজি গাড়িও ভাংচুর করা হয়। রাত একটায় এ রিপোর্ট লেখার সময় ওসি ও এক পুলিশ সদস্যকে মৌলভীবাজার থেকে সিলেট ওসমানি মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নেয়া হচ্ছিল।

দক্ষিণ চট্টগ্রামের সাতকানিয়ায় আসামি ধরতে গিয়ে গতকাল গ্রামবাসীর তীব্র প্রতিরোধের মুখে পড়েছে সাতকানিয়া থানা পুলিশ। এসময় পুলিশকে বহনকারী তিনটি গাড়ি ভাংচুর ছাড়াও হামলা চালিয়ে ওসিসহ ৭ পুলিশকে আহত করেছে গ্রামবাসী। এসময় জনতাকে লক্ষ্য করে অন্তত ১৫ রাউন্ড শটগানের গুলি ছোড়ে পুলিশ। প্রতিবাদে সড়কের পাশের বড় বড় গাছ কেটে অবরোধ সৃষ্টি করে জনতা। গতকাল সকাল ৭টার দিকে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
পুলিশ ও প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানায়, সকাল ৭টার দিকে একটি হাইওয়েজ ও দুটি ডেম্পার গাড়িযোগে থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা মো. ইসমাইল পিপিএম (বা&#2480-এর নেতৃত্বে বিপুলসংখ্যক পুলিশ সদস্য চরতি তালগাঁও বাজারে পৌঁছে। এসময় পুলিশ স্থানীয় চেয়ারম্যান ও জামায়াত নেতা ডা. রেজাউল করিমকে গ্রেফতার করে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে—এমন খবর মাইকে ঘোষণা করা হলে পুলিশকে প্রতিরোধে এলাকার নারী-পুরুষরা রাস্তায় নেমে আসেন। একই সময় দক্ষিণ চরতি, দুরদুরী, তালগাঁও, ব্রাহ্মণডেঙ্গাসহ আরও একাধিক স্থানে সড়কে শতাধিক গাছ ফেলে অবরোধ সৃষ্টি করা হয়। এতে পুলিশ সদস্যরা আটকে পড়ে। এসময় গ্রামবাসী পুলিশের তিনটি গাড়ি ভাংচুর করা ছাড়াও ওসি মো. ইসমাইল, সেকেন্ড অফিসার এসআই রেজাউল, এএসআই আবদুল আলম, এএসআই আনছারুল হক, কনস্টেবল আবদুল হানান, রাঙামাটি পুলিশ লাইনসের কনস্টেবল আলি হোসেন ও মোহাম্মদ জুনায়েদকে মারধর করে আহত করে। পরে কোনো আসামি গ্রেফতার করা হবে না—এমন ঘোষণা দিয়ে বাঁশখালী হয়ে পুলিশ সদস্যরা থানায় ফেরত আসতে সক্ষম হয়। থানার সেকেন্ড অফিসার এসআই রেজাউল করিম মজুমদার জানান, চরতি ইউনিয়ন চেয়ারম্যান ও জামায়াত নেতা ডা. রেজাউল করিম গত ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি আল্লামা দেলাওয়ার হোসাইন সাঈদীর ফাঁসির রায়কে কেন্দ্র করে সংঘটিত সহিংসতার মামলায় এজাহারভুক্ত আসামি। পুলিশ তাকে গ্রেফতার করতে গেলে স্থানীয়রা মসজিদের মাইকে ঘোষণা দিয়ে পুলিশের ওপর হামলা করে। আহত পুলিশ সদস্যদের সাতকানিয়া স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে চিকিত্সা দেয়া হচ্ছে। ঘটনার পর চরতি এলাকা সরেজমিন পরিদর্শনে গিয়ে দক্ষিণ চরতি, হিন্দুপাড়া, বাংলাবাজার, দরদুরী, তালগাঁওসহ আরও একাধিক স্থানে সড়কের ওপর বিশাল বিশাল গাছ পড়ে থাকতে দেখা যায়। ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান ডা. রেজাউল করিমের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগের চেষ্টা করেও তাকে পাওয়া যায়নি। তবে সাতকানিয়া উপজেলা জামায়াতের আমির মাওলানা আবুল ফয়েজ বলেন, ডা. রেজাউল করিম এলাকায় অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় ব্যক্তিত্ব। দুবার চেয়ারম্যান নির্বাচিত হয়ে এলাকার সার্বিক উন্নয়নে ভূমিকা রাখছেন তিনি। তাকে গ্রেফতারের খবর শুনেই লোকজন বিক্ষুব্ধ হয়ে ওঠে। এখানে রাজনীতির কোনো যোগসূত্র নেই।

There has been constant propaganda on the forum by islamists who have been trying to blame the violence by islamists in BD - and a lot of it targetting religious minorities on the minorities, neighboring countries, santa clause and the mayans.
