Thutu baba may do another polti. He is yet to withdraw nomination papers and resign from Hasina's 4 party mahajot cabinet.
Back to that cow cartoon, I was thinking that Hasina may someday eat that cow alive. It has now come true
Dat was quick!
If you read in between lines Ershad in his press conference dropped the hint of thousand crore taka. It seems previous amount of 200 core from Awami League (partially paid) + 100 crore from india (unpaid) were not enough. Ershad figured Awami League looted billions and 300 crore is not fair price given ordeal he has to endure. Nonetheless, IF Ershad sticsk to his decision, Awami League and india for that matter, are royally screwed.
Okay, but let's ask ourselves this. What would a man like Ershad want with that money? He is already loaded. Probably some of the richest in the country.
People here say that the money claim is bogus because of that. He even has his own helicopters.
His issue (according to him) is due to a very limited number of seats for his party. Is it possible that he was hoping to revive his party? How many folks were aspiring to join the JP? Or possibly that money to be used to revive the JP?
It's worth noting that Ershad was a military man. The one reason why he wasn't touched during the CTG admin was to due to his army background.
Is there a conspiracy against the AL?
Election needs lots of money, specially for JP as its public support was in downward slope. With Awami new riches from looted billions Ershad does not compare.
Ershad had mainly been used by India and Awami League to negate support for BNP vote in some regional areas like Rangpur, Sylhet and part of Dhaka. While, no one participating in election Indo-Awami plan was to use Ershad as domesticated opposition. That Indo-Awami plan still stands, just read Indian foreign secretary statement to Ershad.
December is going to be a very bad month. Very bad. December 16th is the country's independence. Coincidence?
The only way out should Bangladesh descend into further chaos is to have the White Knights to the rescue.

Three I am thinking:
1. Joker Abaidul Kader said few days ago that, "Somzhota hole sob BNP leader der free kore dewa hobe" (all the BNP leaders will be freed if agree with AL). So what does it mean? There is no genuine charge/deviance of vandalism and arson against top BNP leaders! Then why the neutral Bangladeshis and some neo Awami league supporters can not understand that all the charges and cases on BNP top leaders are false! They must be dumb.
2. BNP is miserably failed. They failed many times ago politically, strategically and diplomatically. Now they have no way except Hartal. My question is why would we and I suffer for BNP's failure who could do nothing smartly but Hartal. BNP is a party of dumb gentlemen. Our problem is we do not have a good govt party and also do not have a good opposition party.
3. We will never have any war, even if we have war with India, we will never win, then what is the use of our Amry except maintaining peace? The army must do something. I suggest that Army must come after every 5 years for 3 month to play the role of caretaker govt. Except maintaining peace at home, I really see no use of our Army. Seriously our Army is not playing it;s part in this measurable time. Now I know why I do not waste my time thinking about our Army.
The BD Army is the largest manpower contributor to UNPKO.
