sorry to say but the mullah fanaticism in bangladesh is a import from india... all those deobandi and tableeghi idiots from india either visiting bangladesh or sending influencing by other means.

for years, bangladesh had the "bishwa ijtema", the largest gathering of mullahs and burqas... it seems that in 2010, there were five million attendees... this will certainly have an influence on the weaker-minded of bangladeshis... i don't know if the ijtema is still permitted.

the recent backlash by bangladesh citizens against the jamaatis must follow the pattern of the egypt citizens and government and military who have acted against the ikhwaani dogs.

ijtema-type gatherings have increased in india, especially southern india... earlier it was zakir naik, now it is the pfi group... bangladesh must act against such munafiq mullah mentality before it is too late... the first action would be to stop relay of tv channels like "peace tv" or "etc urdu" or "zee salaam".

The geographical location of Bangladesh which is the sigh relief for us. Imagine BD sharing a border with any of the Taliban hot states. Bangladeshi and Indian Muslims are peaceful people. At least in our side of East. Violence isnt in our blood. These extreme ideas wont ever sustain for long. People will become less religious with time and tolerance level will increase. I dont take any religion seriously. I hate every uneducated extremists but also soft for them. Because they are our people. Hope our people get high education and iq level increases.
This below map (global iq) is enough evidence why most of the violence occurring in these areas by hardcore extremists. Its another reason why religions are highly performed in these areas. JI have always worked for the rights of the Muslim community. and in the context of United Pakistan and Bangladesh, they have supported Islam as the guiding principle for our socio-political system. the reason is rooted in how United Pakistan/Bangladesh came into being in 1947, and the demographics of this land. accounting for all that, it takes a real delusional bigot to argue against Islam being present in Bangladeshi political framework.
