Update Avalanche Clearance at Gayari Sector Siachen

Swiss and German team after completing their assigned task of assisting search and rescue mission have gone back to their counties. The report submitted by Swiss and German teams validated earlier indentified sites by Pakistan Army.
Meanwhile Norway and US Teams are at Gayari to assist the ongoing rescue operations.
Search and rescue Operation at Gayari continues round the clock at its full pace. The rise in temperature has increased the chances of slides, however necessary safety precautions are being taken to ward off danger.
The tunnel at site 1 has been widened slightly; however, the work on the tunnel is hampered due to presence of toxic gases in it. The work on other sites indentified by experts is in progress at full pace using all available resources.

The public is numb towards all this due to all that has been done to the nation and the common man by the politicians. On each sentence of a politician the crowd gathers and shouts slogans and react to each sentence said in a gathering, this is what is the Public has been programmed (like a computer) to do now by the politicians. If all this continues the coming years have a lot more in store for the the common man.

All the political debates on TV are not debates but like dogs barking at each other (sorry for using these words in a thread like this for the honorable soldiers)

If you think the public is numb about the sufferings of our soldiers, than you are living in a fools paradise. Every person i have talked to have been affected by this incident psychologically, everyone i know has offered dua and prayers for our boys. At my local mosque we prayed nafal after Isha for the safe return of our boys. Just because people are not out on the street does not mean that they are indifferent about this incident.

On each sentence of a politician the crowd gathers and shouts slogans and react to each sentence said in a gathering, this is what is the Public has been programmed (like a computer) to do now by the politicians. If all this continues the coming years have a lot more in store for the the common man.

Most of these people standing in the crowd are paid to be there by their local MNA's or MPA's. Thus they will follow whatever is being asked of them, off course Jalsa's of Imran Khan are an exception where people are there out of their own will.

8000 miles away in UK people are as concerned about the soldiers...same in other countries.
All Pakistanis here know about the tragedy and are concerned.

SKARDU: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif after visiting the site of the avalanche in the Gayari sector called on the governments of Pakistan and India to withdraw their forces from Siachen. Nawaz said the first step should be taken by Pakistan.

Speaking to the media, Nawaz said the present government did not have the will or the capability to fight terrorism. “Immediate attention needs to be given to terrorism and its elimination.”

Earlier Nawaz Sharif arrived in Gayari via helicopter from Skardu. The PML-N president received a briefing on the rescue operation from Corp Commander Lt. General Khalid Nawaz and Forces Commander Major General Akram ul Haq.

Nawaz Sharif also distributed cheques worth Rs500,000 to the families of the affected soldiers in Skardu.
