It will take less than 10 years, but here is the thing, how do you convince the buyer that they should buy your product and not the already established one? That first step is the most important. Nissan/Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Kia etc established, but they didn't find much success. Toyota/Honda/Suzuki rule because they have very large presence. It's not like Hyundai/Kia make bad cars, people just don't want to change because they are like, what is the resale value of the car? Can i find the parts easily? Etc etc

I know very well how difficult it is to establish for a new company....... There are several ways to establish..... India was ruled by Maruti and it took some time for Hyundai to establish, similarly Renault was struggling and were hardly considered, but with the launch of duster, the fate of the company changed......... A right product, Right strategy is that all you need....
