It's a stupid comparison, Taiwan is not occupied by foreigners, Taiwan techinically is still part of China, Taiwan's official name is Republic of China. Many people in both mainland China and Taiwan still hold the idea " Chinese don't fight Chinese". so as long as Taiwan keep their official name’、 “ Republic of China”, it's hard for the mainland to justify a war against Taiwan, so the mainland is waiting for Taiwan to make a mistake.
