Again, dunno why you condemn the religion as if the Quran commands attacks on Churches. You're doing 2 wrongs here, you're being too kind on the corrupted human nature of these Muslims and you're generalizing and painting the rest of the Muslims with the same brush.

What is your audience, are you left with any? What was your purpose? Have you done any good in the world? It just comes off as slander... and then you're looked over.

All that I posted above in this thread are the definitions of dar al harb and dar al islam from Wikipedia. Google "dar al harb" yourself and you will see. Are these not accurate definitions as promulgated by Islamic scholars? Why so sensitive? This is what these Islamic concepts are, isn't that true? I didn't come up with the concept of dar al harb. Who did? Where does this idea come from? Do you know? Do you find fault with these concepts? Could such concepts be providing a motivation for some of the events we are witnessing?

Dar al Harb and Dar al Islam are not Quranic terms but something that came out of Jurisprudence a couple of 100 years later.

And ofcourse you forgot the third area which is where almost all the countries in the world where muslims are in minority but have their right to worship protected by the constition. That is Dar-al-Aman or House of Peace.
This consists of countries like US, India, UK, Australia where muslims have the right to practice and preach their religion and as long as they are citizens of this country, the constitution is like a contract binding them to the country as part of Dar-al-Aman.

There is no disagreement that the interpretation of the word of God has been distorted by extremist elements. My concern was you labeling the entire philosophy of Islam as inherently wrong. That is a non-starter.

The other factor is that the Muslims can't seem to differentiate between what works now and what worked then. Islam as interpreted today - in fact much stricter than it is today, was applied on the empire and it was considered super free and super liberal. Those were the times of the Dark Ages in the west - so its a question of relativity that we Muslims don't get.

Concepts like Blasphemy, Theocratic laws all emerged from a necessary US vs THEM mentality which was prevalent in whatever culture we were in.

With the fear that Christian Copts here in the Netherlands could be under attack, we can't sleep anymore."
