I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The cricket was top class. Hope we have more India and Australia series.

Seems too easy for India. I really like Rahul, has the potential to be very consistent in all formats.

They were made to sweat for this one!!

Aussies were destined to lose 4-0 or 3-0 at best in Indian conditions but the nearly pulled off a miracle (not that beating India is one but beating India IN India is as close to one as there possibly can be). Won one match, nearly won the other (but lost), draw one match and then loose the last. 2-1 will in Indian condition's against India is an achievement as Indians do exploit the home advantage very very well.

At the end of the day, it is India who have won the series. Congratulation to Indian team and all our members from India. An entertaining series comes to an end i will look forward for more entertaining cricket in future.

The biggest disappointment was Kohli. He let Aussies get better of him emotionally. If Kohli would kept his nerves calm, India would have defeated Aussies 3-0, if not 4-0.

Spin duo of Ashwin and Jadeja bowls India into a commanding position in the fourth and last test of the series. This came at the back of a great 7th wicket partnership between Jadeja and Saha. Once the butt of all jokes, SIR Ravendra Jadeja have proven to be one key player for the Indian side.

India now need 106 runs to win the series 2-1!

Australia who have shown tremendous character and will to take this series to this point eventually fall victim to the spinning track on Third day of fourth test Dharamsala. They were expected to fall 4-0 or 3-0 in the Indian conditions but fared pretty decent.

Spin bowling is very much part and parcel of the game, if the batsmen are not capable of playing spin they are not complete batting unit.
Its mentality of some subcontinentals to undermine spin bowling when actually subcontinent teams (india,pakistan,srilanka) have produced quality spinners throughout time.
When our batting units sometimes collapse on green fiercy tracks in australia, england, south africa, them people leave no chance of mocking the batting, no body will say them being victim of green track.

And regarding this match in particular Non spinners have taken 11 wickets, where as spinners took 8. So i dont understand how fair is it even to say that aussies were victim of spin, when non spinners took more wickets.
