Australia lifts ban on import of Pakistani mangoes

. . . . .

That's strange as the USDA insists that HWT doesn't kill the bugs native to North America and can damage the crops in the US. With mangoes available in Canada, the USDA's ban wont help much as the bugs/flies can spread from Canada into the US.

Why doesn't Canada require the irradiation process and are there any reported cases of Pak mangoes damaging the local crops there? Also, can you bring Pak mangoes back into the US?

.
In Canada, we have Mangoes from Pakistan flown three times a week by PIA's non-stop flights.

.
Nothing can Match the taste of Pakistani Mangoes not even close enough.

Canada has its own rules governing import of agricultural products, and USA has its own. Last time I checked they were two different countries. I do not live in Canada so I do not know the details of their policy or how they monitor any possible effects on their local crops from such imported fruits and vegetables. Perhaps somebody living there can tell us more.

And no, you cannot bring mangoes across the border into USA. Many have tried and have suffered the consequences.

I don’t get to eat the delicious mangoes, the one here are too expensive and not of the same quality.

USA supplied the equipment and even allowed import for Pakistani mangoes, but guess what? We couldn't even dunk the mangoes properly. The ban was reimposed. :(

You heard the one about the surgical instruments?
