Australia delay Bangladesh tour over 'security concerns'

Now that should be a lesson for Bangladeshis.

Under Indian influence they politicized Pakistan tour and cancelled it, citing "security reasons".

So in that sense I support Australian decision,

What you sow, so shall you reap! Pakistan should repay Bangladesh with same coin at some point in time, when they really need us!

Sorry Bangla brothers, but you started it!
Indian influence wasn't needed for cancelling the tour. Back then terror situations were very bad at Pakistan.

.
Tell me how they work? I mean killed the Italian.
RAW has taken revenge on us for sending our women team to Pakistan.
There were all the time of the world to kill foreigners by militants.
But they chose eve of Aussie team visit.
Tell why?
And what if BNP-JeI nexus felt threaten with Hasina acceptability in common BD people due to her sustainable economic performance ?
They want to bring instability in BD to dent Haseena image ?

.
This is called karma is b!tch, how about shooting at NSW police headquarter in Australia today ? these unfortunate things happen, that does not mean you have to act like this. How about now other countries stop coming to play Cricket in Australia ?
some shooting took place in Australia in recent times, you should be more worry about that.

.
Australia were "overly sensitive" to postpone their tour of Bangladesh over security concerns, says Pakistan Cricket Board president Shahryar Khan.
BBC Sport - Australia were 'overly sensitive' to cancel their tour of Bangladesh

LMAO

Bangladeshis have always been assholes. Serves those India licking fish heads right.

LMAO no one will be ashamed over tour cancel in your country

“This has been a very difficult decision,” CA chief James Sutherland said on Thursday.

“Following the most recent information from the Australian Government agencies and our own security advisers, we have decided that, regrettably, we have no alternative but to postpone the tour.”

haseena and BCB can ask their father India for help now . i wish some more terror incidents in BD in future .

.
They just shot and killed an Irish diplomat in Bangladesh. Claimed by ISIS, I guess it's a legit concern for Aussies.

So people should also not visit India bcoz Mob killed a man bcoz he ate beef, rampant rapes, Punjab attack this year..? Bangladesh is more peacefull then u... no one should also visit Australia if u remember Hostage crises by ISIS in Australia in which three ppl died.. its shit logic..

.
These Aussies are pussies, their intelligence agency murdered a poor Italian NGO worker to evade the best cricketing side in the world.

This is the mother of all tall stories. imagination and conspiracy theories !

Bro how is the Thailand drive planning progressing.

Can we talk soon on it? The ride is a "go" - me and some close rider buddies. KTM 390s and Ninja 650s.

January by the look of things.

How much time should we keep if we plan to ride to Pattaya from Pune (we are calling it the P2P ride ....) and back?

I am guessing in India at least 700-800 odd kms a day should be doable. Even more on some stretches. Somewhat less once we hit the North East. No idea of the roads and terrain in Myanmar. Thailand should be mostly world class.

Few things, the trip is getting mired due to :

1. Ladies wanting to join us. ( !!!)
2. Lack of clarity from Myanmar & Thai embassies on permits, road conditions & safety ( mostly Myanmar).

These are being worked on.

700 km / day in India is pushing it . Not recommended as a planning figure. Upto Calcutta 400 - 500 is okay beyond siliguri 350 is a realistic figure.

Guwahati to Dimapur is about a days drive ( sunsets early ) . Dimapur - Kohima- Imphal - Moreh about 6-8 hrs.

What we have in mind is to enjoy the trip & not rush through on the outward trip. May stop at Khaziranga Natioanl Park, War memorials at Kohima etc and reach Moreh at last light so as to cross next morning.

The stuff of nightmares. We have put our collective heavy feet down and squashed quite comprehensively early feeble attempts and squeals of protest. Suitable sops and alternative vacations will be provided for. But the cost will be happily borne.

This is the main thing I want your advice on. Am confident your groundwork will be thorough and precise so please pardon my piling on and picking your brains and eating a free meal. :)

Safety wise, I heard even south Thailand is under Military junta rule with quite some unrest? Myanmar of course is a country just now emerging from decades of isolation.

Have managed more up to north Bengal in the past. On inferior machinery (Bullets). This should not be a problem on KTMs and Ninjas.

Agree about Siliguri and beyond.

I am in the midst of some big projects at work, and a ride like this (as most of my other rides) will have to be rushed. Where the riding is the final ends and the means to the end, the places and the terrain and the scenery and the people and culture soaked in on halts and in the evening/nights. Distance covered and places and geography traversed and boundaries crossed being the rider brownie points at the end of it. There are riders with different circumstances in life who do do it differently. But not this group of mine.

I used the wrong word .

For ' wanting' .. read ' insisting".

No lady trusts her spouse in Thailand !!

To make it worse kids have also formed ' pressure groups' !
