Austalian athletes 'treated like cattle' CWG

So you want us to provide AC just for that 30-35 minutes stay in the tunnel?
As that tunnel, after the opening ceremony would not be used to stay 30-35 minutes in!
We know we are Rich, but thats just about asking too much.
;)

Or not put them in an unventilated tunnel?

. . .
Put a sock in it !

AND YES you guys are whiners, especially after the fake 'sting operation'

How can you call the athletes whiners? "whiners" is a term reserved for people who don't have anything to complain about, but are still complaining.

The athletes actually have something good to complain about, they were stuffed in a tunnel at 40 degrees for christ sakes.

It would be like telling a person who has been stabbed "your a whiner"

Most of you are just trolling anyway, you don't bad criticism, it's really childish. :disagree:

. .
Uh-oh.....looks like the Australians just aren't getting any sympathy on PDF today:P

On second thoughts, the organizers should have planned it better. 40 deg for a long time without ventilation is not cool.

I still think they're whiners...even apart from this incident.

.
Were they the only ones who have to pass through that to come to the ground ?

No. Also they weren't "passing through" they were made to wait in the tunnel for half an hour to 45 minutes, along with the British athletes and Canadian athletes.

7 British athletes passed out, as you can see in the video i provided above.

Most of the Aussie athletes were literally soaked in sweat, it look like they had jumped in a pool of water.

Of course they wouldn't. Any bad news story about India is met with Indians insulting other people. It's a childish thing to do.

Imagine if there was a terrorist attack in India and thousands of foreign athletes were killed. I bet the Indians on here would be saying "oh they are just whining" "oh they are never happy"

You have to accept criticizem if it's fair and true criticism. Don't take criticism as an insult.

.
That was not fake BTW.

Though i do not agree with their complaint about weather in this case

The complaint isn't about the weather. The complaint is that they were stuffed in a tunnel with 1,000 people and were made to wait in it for 45 minutes in 40 degree temperatures. It's dangerous to athletes, if they get heat stroke, it could effect their performances.

Why they were made to wait ?? I see there must be some just reason otherwise i dont think so Indians would have been revenging them for any issue back home in Australia.

And as Brits and Canadian athletes also waited so i guess Aussies are exaggerating things

Read the news article. It was before the opening ceremony when all the countries walk out with their flags.

As i said Canadian and British teams complained about it to, the news article is just about the aussie complaints.

7 British athletes passed out from the heat and were taken to hospital.

Ok i agree with performance part BUT can anyone put forward the reason for the wait?

and out of those 1000 people how many were athletes ? I am sure all of them are part of officially announced teams.

They had been there before to monitor the passages to the ceremony then why using this word "tunnel" now ??

.
hahhaha they kept standing there in tunnel for 30 min. and getting fainted ???? why the hell they didnt move ....

aussie cry babies.
