This move was to intrude our airspace, bomb a random target and return back; which they exactly did. There was no exact target, except their domestic audience. But their objectives were met, even though they were turned back by the PAF.

This was a successful action by the IAF in terms of PR and will be remembered as such.

exactly!! target was not Pakistan but idiot indians! and india succeded in convincing their people that look we entered Pakistan dropped few bombs and returned without any retaliation from Pakistan!

I have a relative that lives in Balakot, he said that the hillside was bombed near a popular hiking area but no one lives there and there has been no casualties. He will try to get pictures which I will share here.

Why would we retaliate to a failed operation where we already humiliated india?

We forced you to retreat, and published pictures of your hastly dropped payload/fuel tanks as evidence...whereas your military has not commented on it even yet.

This was a successful action by the IAF in terms of PR and will be remembered as such. The casualties do not matter here. The fact that they had the ability to violate our airspace is a win for both the Indian military, it's media and it's gullible people.

With the media, a fake news would have been enough to do that. IAF involvement would not be required.
A confirmation from DG ISPR helped. Which means damage was done. The magnitude of it may vary.

For what we should retaliate when your Air force never have balls to strike us in real. If lets say in next few hours, PAF violates your airspace by crossing 4-5 Kms and turns away without doing anything, will your consider this as Pakistani surgical strike on India ? no you won't....
