LEA/ local police are equipped/ manned and trained sufficiently to conduct raids inside urban cities but if IGP KPK's words are any worth (definitely not for PTI) he alleges that police was prevented and discouraged by the PTI to go after these militants hiding in the cities.

Just see where their Chief Minister is and you can tell what their priorities are, you would think an incident of this magnitude would warrant the government's focus but alas not.

KPK people raised their voices many times. Murad Saeed also raised this issue. Wana people marched also. However, KPK CM must have been in Bannu or Peshawar by now.

Nonetheless, few will blame govt and many will the army. In addition, the establishment also seems more concerned about preventing the Punjab assembly dissolution (recent Bajwa's call to CM).

CTD KPK has been recently doing a decent job along the Army to pointedly eliminate these scums. Such incidents can happen but we should not dis them for being dominated like that. For peace to prevail, CTD and civil LEAs would eventually need to take responsibility from the Army.
