The Lal Masjid operation was only against few that led to killing of scores of students held hostage by these terrorists. But still no aftermath massacre took place unlike Blue Star operation and Indira killing.

So OP has one story of "atrocity" that too selectively picked from a list of human rights violations by police from 2003 to further his propaganda post Khalistan crackdown. And to be honest not just women but men also face sexual torture, both are condemnable but it's a sad reality in every part of the world. People with power can and do get away with such crimes.

lal masjid triggered militancy was by an organized nameless faceless terrorists with funding from abroad so finding those terrorists arresting them and punishing them needed a long period and we did neutralise many of them. While your political part aka Congress was and is Hindu in nature and faith mostly despite the fact that sanghis may hide behind secular word to distance the faith from 84 massacre of Sikhs. But ok for a moment even if we call it just political then why India failed to give justice to Sikhs despite the fact that she had a Sikh PM once as well.

Wrong . Congress is a secular party.. so the riots were secular.. or left wing riots.... it had nothign to do with Hindus... even Muslims equally contributed to these secular riots.

We are not talking about the minorities in the first place here. We are talking about Indian official crimes against own large number of Sikhs with the patronage of Indian government.

You can open a thread about Pakistan I will gladly respond.

BTW here in Pakistan not only minorities but majority are not safe from terrorists who have different channels of funding and nourishment.

India has given the Sikhs a state where they are in majority. The Indian government has bent over backwards to accomodate them. The whole violence in Punjab in the 1980s is a case of politicians and extremists running amok. A lot of people lost their lives including Indira Gandhi. There is no point visiting the past. It is time to look to the future.

That is a common counter-insurgency technique when dealing with terrorists, it happens everywhere.

Even in Kashmir when someone joins Hiuzbul Mujahideen or other Pakistan based terror outfit like LeT, Indian Army shows up at their home for "interrogation" Nine months later, the wife or sister of the terrorist is giving birth due to said "interrogation" by Army.

It is a very good deterrent against Kashmiri (or other) men joining terrorist outfits, because it makes them afraid what might happen to their sisters and wives if they leave to join these terror outfits.

I respect Punjabis and Punjabi culture but even a smaller state like Haryana have a larger GDP and is contributing more to the economy. So punjab's contribution won't affect Indian economy much.
