What happened to cashless campaign? Can't they use their debit/credit cards overseas?
It is supposed to be helpful when AC docks at small port where ATM is scarce. It is a smart approach though looks ridiculous. It won't be necessary when India is much more developed that every port has either enough ATMs or well supports cashless transactions.ATM would be the last thing a person would need while at sea and more so on an aircraft carrier. If it is the State Bank of India's E-Corner then I must say it is a good move by the Navy. But an ATM.. Naaaaaaaaaaaah!!
