The only songs ... rather song ... of his, that is worth one's time is adat or maybe you could squeeze in "wo lamhe" ... It all went downhill from there in my opinion. I'd still listen to Junaid Jamshed, Nazia Hassan, Junoon group, Hadiqa kiyani & strings over anything produced by Atif or Ali at this point, which is quite a shame because as a 90's child, this is the era of one's life where you really go out and try to discover everything you can be it art, music etc. ... but sadly, besides coke studio and some stuff from Nescafe, there isn't enough good Pakistani music out there.

I loved his Taj-Dar-E-Haram and he's so charismatic. But he didn't sing that because it was like a Kalam. Pakistani music is very indate but has little exposure, no one makes videos anymore as there are no Pakistani 'Music channels' which is stupid because it's needed for the entertainment sectors.

Yeah good stuff, but I was speaking specifically about original music. At this point I prefer anime-ost's over the original stuff being produced by our artists. I mean, just take Ali Zafar .... while he had many hits ... but this typa stuff is what your looking for when you have global competition.

I like Ali Zafar as well. Still, Atif Aslam can sing pretty well.

One of his better ones ... but when it comes to slow paced songs that are supposed to knock at your heart with clever lyrics and stuff ... the bar here is too darn high .. Check this out ..
