its not the responsibility of ECP to set the laws for election, previously as per law we had minimum requirement of graduation for candidate but this condition was later withdrawn by Zardari government

we need at least a generation to uplift the education and social standards, once we succeed to achieve above 90% literacy rate these sort of laws will become irrelevant.

Even at the time when graduation was a necessary condition to become member of parliament most of the members of 2008 National assembly had submitted fake degrees, during that time if I am not wrong I think +200 (211 out of 272 members) was the figure quoted number of times by different sources of print and electronic media

WHAOOO...Yea I remember the fake degree drama....esp that minister who was like degree asli ho ya fake degree degree hoti hai....I wonder if he says the same abt his branded stuff?!
