Heard the same thing, even they got 'there' old kurdish name of cities.
The names are same in turkish but I think I saw kurdish city names next to the turkish names on the government buildings.
So even the buildings have their names in 2 languages, I saw this on news pics and on tv.
But I am a bit unsure, I and many other Turks never go to areas in the east where kurds live because they are very uncivilized.
The kurd issue is a difficult one in Turkey because even the kurds don't want to live where they are born in the east near Syria, Iraq and Iran. A lot of them move to Turkish areas in the west and by the beaches.
If they are going to cause trouble for us then they can go back to the east where they belong.
We have had kurdish presidents and many many famous singers of kurdish origin.
But as now can be seen you give them a hand and they will take your arm.
If the kurds keep on attacking us one day they will be sorry, we will simply send them all away from our cities in the west and they can go play with goats in the east, or better yet go live with their brothers in Iraq.
They are testing our patience a lot, Turkey as a government is treating the kurds like a very human rights loving western nation. No one in the west would negotiate with terrorists but Erdogan did that under "peace process" and the kurds used this "peace process" to hide weapons like never before.
It's difficult to trust kurds, they just want more and more all the time. Soon they will want Istanbul too I wouldn't be surprised.
But luckily for us Turks the kurds aren't so smart.
They are also very pathetic they go to the west and cry like little girls "oh please help us evil Turks are killing us", then the next day they kill innocent people with bombs.
Cowards... They will pay for all this, they think our patience is weakness.
In WW1 armenians sided with our then enemy russia and attacked Turkey from the inside and we had been living together for 500+ years, as a result Turkey forced them to go to Syria instead of just killing them for their treason.
Now the kurds are doing the same thing, they went to moscow and begged for help and opened offices there.
kurds have sided with russia against Turkey, they are traitors.
The kurds have a country right now in north Iraq, why don't they go there if they don't like us?
Because they are greedy, they think they can go take other peoples lands, the same lands we had to fight for in history.
Now many of you are wondering "aren't those kurdish lands in the east?"
No they are not, there has always been kurds living in the east as a small minority, but after Saddam started gassing the kurds Turkey HELPED THEM (just like we are helping Syrians today) and they moved to Turkey as refugees. Then they make babies like rabbits and today instead of thanking us for saving them from Saddam they are trying to take our lands.
kurds are ungreatful people
