Unfortunately, it is true. There is a different level of attention based on who is the killers. And the news moves out of the headlines in 3... 2... 1....
Agreed! But the west is only partially to be blamed for this discrimination and i cannot and will not say that we have no part in it. We as Muslims (or Pakistani) are also partially responsible for this discrimination. Have not done much to change the perception anyway so why blame them for not changing it. This was and still remains OUR responsibility.Unfortunately, it is true. There is a different level of attention based on who is the killers.
You are welcome.Thank God it wasn't an act of terrorism
You are welcome.
Of course it is not a case of terrorism. As God, I know that you are sensitive to perceptions about Muslims, so I will use the American Ku Klux Klan as example.
The Klan was a racist organization and terror was indeed its primary method of instilling fear into blacks and other minorities. But that is the point that you missed.
At its broadest definition, any act that instill fear into a person can qualify as an act of terrorism. That means a bank robbery qualifies. But that is not what we are talking about here. The Klan has a social and political goal. A bank robbery does not. The Klan wants to frighten blacks and other minorities into submission to the white race. A bank robbery just want money. The Klan seek to ensure the supremacy of the white race for perpetuity. A bank robbery just want money. Do you see a pattern here ?
In this latest mass shooting, is it the goal of the shooter to frighten people away from churches ?

Damn hypocrites, I remember the case of the US soldier who murdered innocent Afghans on a bloodthirsty killing spree, yet no mention of evil or terrorism or barbarity, it was all a deranged nutcase who probably was suffering from PTSD.Kudos bro
As for the lack of labeling groups as 'Christian terorrism'...Klan could be argued that it was a terrorist organization
1. Political in nature
2. Wanted to impose it's belief on the majority
3. Was willing to use violence on innocent civilians to achieve a goal
It just happens that kkk was around when terrorism wasn't really vogue and the days that "one man's terrorist is anothers freedom fighher" was prevalent.
