Wait, whats so unusual about Mecca and Medina being lit up in the dark? These two holy places have uninterrupted power supply and they are in the middle of a desert. So it makes perfect sense that they will be prominently seen from space in their surrounding darkness.

And about Ms Williams converting to Islam, I think a proper source is needed. 'Unconfirmed sources' from a questionable source?

actually if you see the pictures of Makkah and Madina from Google images it is all white............. so somehow you are right

But i believe she is talking about any other kind of light

This is something a bit facinating I uncovered while examining moon pictures , few years ago ... I have only shared the findings with only close close friend of mine from my early KG classes etc ... he was amazed as well

Origionally when I viewed the image , this image for some reason was found on NASA Archives inverted ... so you could not make it out ... but I stumbled upon the image , and just happen to view the image from different prespective I coudl not miss the sign .. it was right there ....

I just smiled when I first saw it ... and just said to myself , wow we look at the moon every single nights and the text is there on the moon visible right infront but we are blind to it ...

I was kinda viewing the moon up close as I am an astronomy fan
