There should some kind of power sharing agreement between the civilians and the Military. Like the foreign policy, international relations etc. The civilians have no idea about the threats but the agencies job is to find out the threats and deal with them. So some kind of give and take must be agreed upon.

The problem is the establishment uses agencies to manipulate and control the civilians, making Pakistan in to a client state for foreign masters, the agencies make videos, recordings of the private lives and then make threats to expose them if they don't listen.

Looking at the recent history, we had 400 drone strikes and our government always condemned it but did nothing about it. Why allow foreign nation to drone attacks your nation, if there are terrorists then deal with them yourself but its treacherous to allow a nation drone strike you whenever they feel like it, same with fake Osama encounter, the kidnapping of Pakistanis and using them as terrorists, using maddrasa to train jihadis and then using them or killing them afterwards. Playing games with people children's. We all now know it was okayed by our own powerful people. India always bashed Pakistan and the Military on international forums but Pakistan stayed quiet, IK came and gave befitting reply to India. Why couldn't the military do the same or the previous PMs.

They become lions in front of own population but sheep in front of international players. Lastly the business empire is also a big problem, I don't think anything is wrong with it because the civilians are corrupt but Military should not be using their power to manipulate and blackmail others، we all know what must happen if you cross an ex Military dude regarding plots and land purchase. Power sharing ? Any such agreement is usually struck between equals and not between a govt and its employees . As for Institutional feedback ? Thats much welcomed but decision making should solely rest with the civilians in charge.
