India Does It Again. Assam Girl Gets Beaten Up In Public And NO ONE Tries To Stop It!
People who stand and watch a crime happen are as much responsible for it as the criminal is. People think that just because the people involved in an incident aren’t related to them, they don’t have any responsibility when it comes to controlling the situation. What we need to understand that all of us have a human responsibility to not stand and watch another human being suffer in front of us when something can be done to help.

But, people in India go two steps further. They don’t just stand and stare. They record the video of the whole thing. Where does so much apathy come from?

A recent video that went viral on social media shows a girl getting brutally beaten up by a man in the middle of a road in Assam. The actual cause of the action and the reason for the dispute is still unknown, but the fact someone decided to take the law into his own hands and physically assault a woman is absolutely not done.

But, sadder part is that NO ONE from the crown stepped in the girl’s defense or to control the situation.



It was only when the girl picked up a saw from a store and started hitting the man to defend herself, and he attempted to tear off her clothes, few people stepped in and pulled the guy away from the girl. Around 20-30 people just stood there and watched the show.
It’s time we stop and ask ourselves that what have we become? A mindless, heartless, moving carcass that cannot get its eyes off the phone?

A man must not raise hand on a women, and people should at least try to intervene and stop it when they see a women been beaten , he was not Police or have any weapon ... i have seen in my area many times when there is a argument between man and women, people come to cool things down .. let alone let them raise hand on women

That's commendable. But again, there are examples like that of Mukhtar Mai where violence against women was endorsed publicly in Pakistan.
So this lack of responsibility exists everywhere. Pakistan is no different and India has its share of idiots.

I am not painting whole country, I see few more videos from India where women were harassed , the most famous one were from the Banglore ( i guess ) .. what i know that here people will lynch man alive if they caught someone misbehaving with a women, recently a women was harassed on a shopping mall when i was doing Eid Shopping, and he gets no less than 15-20 Slaps from people around , and women also slap him for 5-10 mins, later police took him .. people should stand up in such situations , of not all in India will be brush as cowards ..

So you are painting an entire nation with a brush! How are you taking a balanced stand here?
Just as in this case, the case with Mukhtar Mai was an incident of gross public neglect! Doesn't make it right, nor makes Pakistan better for women than India.

Let me ask you a question:
By law in Sharia (and I believe this is the case in Pakistan, correct me if I'm wrong)...
Doesn't a woman need to produce 4 witnesses to corroborate a rape? What do you think that tells you?
Means that 4 people, saw a rape, weren't party to it, but didn't stop it either. So pray tell, when you say that "culture" in Pakistan compels men to beat up eve teasers and harassers, then why the requirement for 4 witnesses to rape? Shouldn't the rape have been stopped by those witnesses to begin with?!

I'm not trying to throw shade at you. I'm simply trying to drive a point that this has no reflection on culture!
