I suggest BD to increase it's defence budget 50 percent each year up to 2021 to make it 5 percent of GDP.Many countries spend more than 5 percent of gdp in defence without much compromising their development.Pakistan used to spent 6-7 percent in the past,we used to spent 1 percent,still they are ahead us in per capita income.If we enlarge our tax collection from the tax avoiding public in BD,then it should be possible to raise defence budget without compromising development.

It is very likely that in 2021,our gdp will reach 400 billion USD. So 5 percent means 20 billion dollar defence budget in 2021.Then it will very much possible to raise million+ strong armed forces with thousands of tanks, hundreds of modern fighter jet, a lot of submarine,frigate and destroyers.Maintain 5 percent upto 2030 and BD will become one of the top ten military power in the world.Then we will see how much these aSSamese monkey jump for war with BD.
