This thread was going on normally when you and your few pals started throwing absolute insults at Mizos and northeastern people WITHOUT provocation. You can go back and see.
Now when one person from the area is predictably outraged by the unprovoked insults and giving back in the same tone it doesn't behove to act holy.
Just discuss the gist of the thread the matter ends there. It's very funny to see poor people accuse the other of poverty and deprivation. We are in the same boat, let us row it together.

There's nothing such as allowing anyone long or short. Moderation needs time as there are hundreds of notifications to go through. However, violation will be treated accordingly without any favourite. Taking matters into your hand like replying in kind, isn't appreciated here nor resolve the matter. Report and move on. This Leishangthem guy (as well as some other NE tribal posters) have been dissing Bangladeshis and Bengalis for a LONG, LONG time. The ill will Bangladeshis have in our section for Nagas, Mizos and Manipuris is primarily because of his hate posts (some even justified by his brand of so called scientific/genetic research showing how Bengalis are lower class etc and how tribals have such an advanced society).

Go through his history, you will see. Proof is all there. Other Bangladeshi posters here know what I'm talking about. Why should we tolerate this?

It is no secret that a large section of Nagas, Mizos and Manipuris are extreme fascists and racists against anyone not of their own kind - this is intolerable behavior. The current fiasco with the Assamese is because of this exact reason of them oppressing minority Bengalis (Hindus) and in general other non-tribal Indians in their territory that was allowed by Indian Govt. This is against Indian constitutional principles.

If Mizos and Manipuris (Nagas as well) want to be Indian citizens, the rule of diversity applies equally to them. Nagas, Mizos and Manipuris neither have the economic chops, nor industrial power to be so prejudiced. Even if they were, this does not behoove civilized people in the 21st century. They will be brought (kicking and screaming if needed) to modern principles of diversity and equality. Or left alone to suffer in isolation.

One should not live in glass houses and throw stones at others.

As an Indian I cannot presume to understand the workings of regions beyond my own state, but as a foreigner who probably never set foot in my region you are not only privy to the internal dynamics of a foreign country of 1.3 billion people, you are even prescribing salutary centre-state policies to Delhi and making predictions. Should I laugh or cry?

We have all been to India and seen how mismanaged the whole place is (Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore), yes most of all 1.4 billion souls live a substandard existence, even compared to Bangladesh. Not everywhere is like Navi Mumbai, Pune and Gurgaon. Open defecation, slums, child mortality, stunting-wise Bangladesh cannot hold a candle to India. India takes the cake in all these categories.

Things are so bad that - some places in India which are a little better because of low birthrates (like some of the tribal states in NE) start boasting about being like Korea and Japan and start driving away settlers.

However at the end of the day (in spite of Kohima, Aizawl and Imphal being so similar to Tokyo ;-) ), reality is that your future is solely dependent on connectivity to Bangladesh for access to ports, for getting crucial supplies like Petroleum, or foodstuff, even if your landlocked entity declared independence today, which you can't.

If the Assamese decide to block shipments that is. And if Myanmar is closed as well, because they've got their own crap going on.

The sooner you realize this the better it is.

See, both Bangladeshi and Indian ( especially neighbours like NE) have just enough knowledge about each other that online pretensions to be rich, advanced or famous are meaningless.
However that approach may work with people further away.. Like Chinese, Pakistani, Persian, Turks or Europeans. Best of luck bondhu

Things are dirt cheap in India (wedding gifts, clothes, jewelry even medical services). Half that of Bangladesh.

Even considering and counting airfare.

How else would poor Indians afford anything?

Just be Thankful we have been keeping Kolkata economy afloat, but during Covid not so much. You can walk in to any mall in Dhaka and apply for Indian visa in kiosks.

Mizoram remains just another poor Indian State in BD's east. Why do you guys have to send fake information? Upgrade your State and then send that information to an international forum.
