Asian Development Bank - ADB to give $10 Billion worth concessional Loan to Pakistan in next 5 years

Of all the UTurns, IK has taken in his life; this loan taking one has to be the biggest ever. In another news there were reports that IMF has said that IMF's loan of $6Billion will allow other creditors to give $38 billion loans to Pakistan. That amount would be almost equal to the loans taken by NS in his tenure.

Lot of people just dont understand the very basic things and how capex and quality institutional effort is needed over very long time to achieve surplus in trade....or even for better import-substitution production for domestic consumption.

The debt/loans is symptom rather than a cause.

Kaash ap thori tehqeeq kr lety to baat smjh mai ajati. That 38$ billion will be used to repay the loans taken by PML N & PPP during their tenures. Not a single penny of these loans will be used for Khan luxuries or anything. In first year of Khan's Gov Pakistan repaid $9.5 billion which is more than the foreign loan Pakistan took last year.

Ah Yes. The same old BS of taking loans to return previous ones.
