Asian Americans least likely to feel they belong in U.S., study finds

Are you a Chinese child, how do you know we Chinese children behave? Chinese children have to learn long history of China of thousands of years and they know countries rise and fall, You American children only have a very short history to learn so they don't know much about how countries and civilizations evolve over time.

Hey you can always go back to that proud world of yours before the white man showed you modern things...you really want to go back there...behind that oxen cart in the rice fields?

Is that the life your teachers highlight when they speak to schoolchildren? We were simple agrarian farmers until in a blink of an eye we were in modern western style cities?

We are not happy to be on the top of the world for just 100 years or so, we know we will bring more in the future just like what our ancestors brought in the past.

Have you ever thought about trying out all the lifestyle options in China first..before considering other countries?
no one wants life advice from the like of you, tool. I bet you are one of the X-gen people by age, aren't ya? They generally appear to be a bit on the 'timid' side with life choices compared to Boomers and Millennials, who tend to venture out more.

LOL! I never hear much about an exodus of the 1 Billion people from the Americas wanting to go to Asia.

It's ALWAYS the other way around...I think that should say something.
Asian americans should not carry the same guilt as whites, it's not their ancestors who did the land robbing.

I doubt their lack of sense of belonging has anything to do with remorse over stolen land.
I've seen one or two carrying a deep white guilt, but they are probably not as many as 43% tho.
US is not as white dominated as people think it is, especially in urban areas, it's a very diverse country with anglosphere culture

Overtime everyone assimilates into larger American culture - black, white, Muslim, Cristian

Some Chinese nationalist say US would collapse as it experiences demographic changes - I don't think so, there's a common culture that binds all Americans of different religions and races and it'll continue to do so, white or no white
Assimilating power is not something you take for granted, multi culture or multi racial societies do not always work out, there were way more failed cases than successful ones, one day USA could just split up like India and Pakistan did.

Chinese understand this better than anyone because we have such a long history with ups and downs.

Hey I'm not surprised Chinese people would want to get the hell out of their country and go live somewhere else before giving elsewhere in China a chance.

It's an East Asian thing I guess.

I guess I'm just used to 1st world problems.

You have a failed society if people have to actually pack their bags and move to a different country to work.

Even if some job in Dubai paid me 4 times my salary I still wouldn't go there. Maybe you guys just don't have a strong sense of family or something. I get job offers in other states in the US and don't go nevermind another country.

Yes China is definitely a failed state. Lololol.

Will that ever go away ?
With 1.4bil ppl. I don't think it will at least not in the near future.

You can portray how better is China to the US all you want, but this is about immigration, not how to compare China to the US. As long as your China remains racist, the US will always be the preferred destination and we will always benefit from that. There are more Asian names in US history than there are foreign names in Chinese history.
I don't deny Chinese as closet racists, but on the outside, we don't appear rude to foreigners. Sort of a East Asian thing. Same with the Japs and Koreans. Don't get triggered mate, US has it's advantages which I have just stated, otherwise it is really a dangerous country. I have stayed in US before and i know how dangerous it can be. The only thing I liked was the suburbs, the most wasteful city planning scheme but what can I say, having a backyard is a luxury for 1.4bil ppl. The suburb is the enemy of mass transit, and US will be never be as efficient as China in city planning. China is like a less perfect Singapore wannabe. It's okay when oil is cheap but imagine driving 2km or 5km to a mall to buy bread. I am a propenent of the dutch planning where housing and shops are nearby. America can continue to be wasteful but one day it will come back to bite ya.

Actually, it depends on what the government think, right now it's uber woke, so no, US now is not defined as white dominate because the definition of white is very much different than the rest of the world.

In the US, you are considered non-white if you are not a European White. In Australia, they don't have this definition, it's either White, Asian, Aboriginal, South Asian and other. While true that many Australian are from Europe so that didn't really change much, but traditionally, most LatAm were actually white as they were descendent of Iberian in Europe, but if you are in that category, you don't consider being white in America, you are Hispanic, which is also true because Hispanic means everyone that speak Spanish, which would include Spain, but Hispanic is not really a race....

They used to count both white and hispanic white as white in the US the last time I did a US census, and if they go with this new route, then yes, white people will shrink into minority...

One thing I notice, East Asians girl sure does love white boys lol
that's a status thing....you probably wouldn't understand.....

I say that as an Asian man who married a white girl............lol
