.
Cooperation Contract at an Amount of € 10.1 Million was Signed Between ASELSAN and IAIS at IDEX 2013
100 STAMP systems are planned to be integrated to the platforms of United Arab Emirates Naval Forces until 2016.
Within the scope of Offset program, 50 out of 100 STAMP systems are planned to be integrated by ASELSAN at the first phase and the remaining 50 are planned to be integrated with the capabilities of IGG ASELSAN Integrated Systems LCC (IAIS) in United Arab Emirates. ASELSAN officials stated that the number of systems to be integrated in United Arab Emirates is expected to be increased from 50 to 85 in the coming period. ASELSAN shall be responsible for the qualification, training, installment and maintenance of all systems within the frame of the Project amounting to € 10.1 million. All systems are planned to be delivered to United Arab Emirates Naval Forces until 2016.
Within the Project scope, 15 systems, which were manufactured by ASELSAN, were integrated to the platforms of United Arab Emirates Naval Forces in previous months. The acceptance tests of these systems are planned to be made in the first quarter of 2013 and the first STAMP systems are expected to be put in UAE Naval Forces’ service following such acceptance tests. In addition to this Project, the supply of 50 STOP systems the contract of which was awarded previously is planned to be initiated in 2013 as per the requirements of UAE Naval Forces.
Between ASELSAN and IGG a contract was signed in 2009 to integrate STAMP and STOP systems with the boats and ships of the UAE Naval Forces and Critical Infrastructure & Coastal Protection Authority (CICPA). Under the scope of the contract, which was signed between ASELSAN and IGG to supply 34 STAMP systems have been installed on the boats.
