Aselsan recently had eliminated American and German firms on tender of Netherlands Army. Now Chilian Army will choose it's new aa missile among Turkish, American and Israeli firms. Aselsan's system differently from other systems can fire missiles while moving so it stands out with that feature.
Chile will purchase two missile system.

One battery consist of
6 missile battery
1 command control system
1 short range radar
One battery can cover 20km2

You should make some research before talk Bsdemon. None said that it is %100 Turkish.

Visit for e-o systems

STINGER MISSILE
Within the context of European Common Stinger Production Consortium the production of launch and flight motors of Stinger missiles is realized in Roketsan. The sub components produced by Germany, Holland, Greece and Turkey, are assembled in Germany and shipped to the Armed Forces of these countries.

Now how can it be when the missile itself and E/O are of American origin?

Igla version of KMS

If you love it we can install israel based missiles or whatever you want on it. Aselsan has eliminated US firm because it's system is more complex and more better than US's.
While you can not differentiate a missile from air defence system, find another site for enjoy.

lol..we cant change the facts just because you dont like it..aselsan eliminated their american and german rivals and got the $100m contract.Because Aselsan's solution was superior to theirs.

US's system can not fire it's missiles while moving i hope Israeli's system as well.

No jeep mounted system fires on move. US had M6 Linebacker system mounted on Bradley, so it could fire on move.

That doesn't mean anything: superior in what way? Meeting specific Dutch operational requirements? Or technical requirements (needs to be mounted in/atop a particular existing armored recon vehicle (which obviously ruiles out Linebacker). Or financiel requirements (cost). Also , don't rule out deliberate additional policy choices such as electing to give the order to Turkey as a sign of it being taken seriously as a European defence partner.
Life may be more complex than you would have us think.

The Netherlands never buy equipment because they are cheap or to show some country that they take them serious as an defence partner thats totally bs. The Netherlands army is hightech very modern they always prefer the best systems or say what is best for them. And in this case it chose for the Turkish system.

i dont bother responding him..he has a tendency to play the "smart-azz" role..let him be.
